Job Summary
Location: Thika, Kitengela, Eldoret, Kisumu, Nakuru, Embu, Machakos. Reporting to: Bancassurance Manager. Employment Type: Commission-Based Contract. Job Purpose: An Insurance Sales Officer is responsible for selling insurance policies, identifying potential clients, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. The role involves explaining insurance products, advising clients on suitable coverage, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential clients to sell insurance products.
- Explain policy features, benefits, premiums, and coverage to customers.
- Assess client needs and recommend suitable insurance plans.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and performance goals.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, and cold calling.
- Assist clients with policy applications and documentation.
- Follow up on policy renewals and upsell additional coverage.
- Maintain accurate records of sales and client interactions.
- Stay updated on company products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
- Previous experience in insurance sales preferred.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills.
